Job summary

Tradeco Construction is seeking an experienced Civil Site Development Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial and heavy civil site projects. You will oversee underground utilities, earthwork, concrete, and site improvements, mentoring foremen and coordinating with project managers to deliver on time and safely.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of civil site development experience.
• 3+ years as a Superintendent or Lead Superintendent.
• Proven experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Strong background with underground utilities.
• Earthwork and grading experience.
• Concrete construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings.
• Experience with scheduling, production tracking, and daily reporting.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews and subcontractors from start to finish.
• Manage project schedules, manpower, equipment, and production.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure work stays on schedule.
• Read and interpret civil plans and specs.
• Oversee installation of underground utilities (storm/ sanitary sewer, water mains, force main).
• Manage earthwork, grading, and site prep; supervise concrete installations.
• Verify elevations, grades, and layout; track production quantities and daily reports.
• Order materials and coordinate deliveries; maintain safety and quality standards.
• Mentor foremen and develop field leadership; partner with Project Managers.

Civil Site Development Superintendent –

Direct Hire with an established leader in the Civil Site Space.

We’re looking for an experiencedCivil Site Development Superintendent to join our growing team. If you’re a hands-on leader with Civil Site Development experience who knows how to keep crews productive, projects moving, and jobs running safely, we want to hear from you.

You’ll oversee all field operations on commercial andheavy civil site development project s—fromunderground utilities and mass grading to concrete and final site improvements. This is a leadership role for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality work, solving field challenges, and building successful teams

What You’ll Be Doing

As Superintendent, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day success of each project by:

• Leading field crews and subcontractors from start to finish
• Managing project schedules, manpower, equipment, and production
• Coordinating inspections and ensuring work stays on schedule
• Reading and interpreting civil plans and specifications
• Overseeing installation of underground utilities, including
• Storm sewer / Sanitary sewer
• Water mains
• Force main systems (preferred)
• Managing earthwork, grading, and site preparation
• Supervising concrete installation including curbs, sidewalks, slabs, and structures
• Verifying elevations, grades, and layout
• Tracking production quantities and daily reports
• Ordering materials and coordinating deliveries
• Maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality
• Identifying and resolving field conflicts before they impact production
• Partnering with Project Managers to deliver successful projects
• Mentoring Foremen and developing field leadership skills

What We’re Looking for
