Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen Inc. is seeking a Civil Site Project Engineer to join our Long Island operations in Melville, NY. You will work on residential and commercial land development projects, collaborating with engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality plans and analyses.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil Engineering, strong design and hydrology experience, and excellent communication skills. PE license is preferred; FE is acceptable.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program
• Experience in land development design including site layout, grading, utilities, stormwater management, erosion & sediment control
• Excellent communication skills
• PE license preferred; FE exam completed or in progress may be considered

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction drawings, plans, and project specifications.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses.
• Coordinate with clients and state/local agencies to ensure compliance.
• Mentor junior staff and assist in project delivery.

What You Bring to the Table

Qualifications
