Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) is seeking a Civil Site Engineer - Project Manager for our Land Development group in Scranton, PA.

You will lead project teams, review civil plans, and ensure compliance with codes while supporting client relations. The position requires a PA Professional Engineer license, a bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, and 10+ years of municipal engineering or private land development experience.

Qualifications

• PA Professional Engineer license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 10+ years of municipal engineering or private land development experience.
• Knowledge of PA regulatory requirements and codes.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• Read/write English proficiently.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams.

Responsibilities

• Review civil engineering plans for compliance with codes.
• Evaluate stormwater permits and plans.
• Mentor staff on engineering and plan preparation.
• Interact with clients on ongoing projects.
• Attend staff and municipal board meetings as needed.
• Assist with public works projects for clients.

Responsibilities

• Review of civil engineering plans including public infrastructure, private, commercial, and residential development plans to ensure compliance with relevant codes
• Evaluation and review of stormwater management permits and plans
• Assistance and mentoring of staff on engineering and plan preparation
• Interact with clients regarding ongoing projects
• Attend meetings, including staff meetings and municipal board meetings as needed
• Assistance with public works projects for clients

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania (PA) Professional Engineer
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field
• Ten plus years of experience in municipal engineering and/or private land development
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and municipal codes
• Experience with land use regulations and permitting in Pennsylvania
• Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
• Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
• Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails, and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
