Job summary

Futures Consulting seeks a Civil Site Engineer to review zoning ordinances and develop site plans for residential, institutional, industrial, and commercial projects. You will coordinate with clients, regulators, and the project team to ensure compliant, efficient designs.

Responsibilities include stormwater and grading design, preparation of reports, and cost estimates. A Civil Engineering degree with 2+ years of site experience and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
EIT preferred; internship experience beneficial.
2+ years’ civil site engineering experience in land development or permitting.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D and hydrology/hydraulic software.
Knowledge of zoning, drainage, grading and site design processes.

Responsibilities

Review zoning and land development ordinances to determine land development limitations.
Prepare Site Investigation and Due Diligence Reports.
Prepare Conceptual Site Plans and preliminary Grading Plans.
Design Stormwater management and conveyance systems.
Prepare construction cost estimates and project documentation.
Coordinate with clients, consultants and project team.
Prepare technical reports on drainage, sanitary sewer and site investigations.
Communicate with agencies and prepare written correspondence.
