Job summary

Teksky LLC in Connecticut is seeking a seasoned Civil Engineer to lead site development projects. You will design and review civil plans, perform calculations, and coordinate with stakeholders while ensuring compliance with permits and budgets.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, 3–5 years of site development experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and an EIT (PE preferred). Experience with septic, stormwater, SWPPP, and cost estimates is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in site development or land development engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with hydrology and hydraulics calculations.
• Knowledge of zoning, permitting, and environmental regulations.
• EIT certification required; PE preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site development plans including layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, and utility design.
• Design and analyze grading and stormwater management systems per regulations.
• Prepare drainage calculations, stormwater reports, and supporting documents.
• Design septic systems and coordinate approvals with environmental agencies.
• Prepare construction drawings, technical specs, and engineering reports.
• Conduct site visits for data collection, construction support, and inspections.
• Coordinate with surveyors, architects, contractors, and permitting authorities.
• Assist with permitting submissions and respond to agency review comments.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Job description

We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Civil Engineer with experience in site development, Civil 3D, CAD, stormwater, septic, and SWPPP design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing civil engineering plans, performing design calculations, supporting permitting, and coordinating with project stakeholders.
