FUTURES CONSULTING LLC seeks a Civil Engineer with 2+ years of experience in Houston, TX to support site development, grading, drainage, and stormwater design using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

The role focuses on developing civil plans, coordinating with teams, and assisting with permitting from design through construction across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, or municipal projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years civil engineering/design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• EIT certification preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Experience with grading, drainage, stormwater, and site development.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering plans and construction documents.
• Perform site layout, grading, drainage, and stormwater design.
• Prepare calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
• Create and revise plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project teams.
• Assist with permitting and respond to project comments.
• Support projects from initial design through construction.
