Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc. seeks a Civil/Site Engineer with 3–6 years of experience for the Suffern, New York office, joining our Water group.

You will work on land development, water resources, and municipal projects, designing site plans, grading, drainage, and utilities, with reporting on drainage and sanitary systems. You will support hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, review municipal plans, and perform occasional field inspections while collaborating with multiple staff across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS.
• Experience or interest in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and HydroCAD.
• This is a PE track position; PE or EIT is preferred.
• Strong writing and verbal communications skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Work on land development, water resources, and municipal projects.
• Design site plans including layout, grading, drainage, and utilities; prepare design reports.
• Model hydrology and hydraulics for watercourses, lakes, and dams; support stormwater designs.
• Review plans for proposed private and municipal projects; participate in inspections.
• Perform field and inspection work periodically.
• Collaborate with staff across Suffern and other Weston & Sampson offices.
