Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking a Project Engineer with 6–8 years of civil/site design experience to join its Reading, MA office. You will lead site layouts, grading, drainage, and utility design for multi-disciplinary projects, using AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of civil/site design, grading, drainage, permitting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater design software.
• Strong writing, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience coordinating with multiple projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate site layouts, grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Analyze zoning regulations and environmental constraints.
• Perform stormwater calculations and hydrology modeling.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors.
• Mentor junior engineers and assist in QA/QC.
• Support client communication and permitting efforts.
• Lead construction administration on projects.
