Weston & Sampson in Suffern, New York, seeks a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager with 7+ years of municipal engineering experience to lead our Municipal Engineering work and collaborate with local officials and staff.

You will supervise project teams, coordinate with the Mayor, Trustees, Clerk and DPW, develop plans, manage budgets and schedules, prepare permits and bids, secure grants, and present updates at public hearings.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• New York State Professional Engineering License, in good standing.
• 7–15 years of municipal engineering/project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects, budgets, and profitability.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel with a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with AutoCAD drafting; civil/site design and infrastructure planning would be helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Support Mayor and Trustees/ Clerk/Administrator.
• Prepare plans, specs, permits, construction documents; manage bid process – start to finish.
• Develop concept plans and assist in obtaining grants.
• Coordinate with DPW, Building Department, Planning/Zoning.
• Review, assist with zoning, master plan updates.
• Coordinate with funding agency and attend quarterly status meetings.
• Attend monthly Consortium meetings and public hearings.
