Job summary

Keystone Consulting Engineers, Inc. seeks a Civil Site Construction Inspector to ensure quality and compliance of all site improvements.

Based in Allentown, you will perform field inspections, document conditions, and coordinate with contractors and municipal staff to align with approved plans and specs. You’ll use Survey123, ArcGIS, tablets, and GPS for data collection, maintaining thorough daily records and photos.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience with municipal or authority site improvements.
• Proven experience in all site improvements construction or inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and municipal standards independently.
• Strong field documentation and reporting skills.
• Proficiency using digital field tools (Survey123, ArcGIS, tablets, etc.).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of all site improvements to confirm quality and compliance with approved plans and specifications.
• Maintain detailed daily documentation, including progress notes, field observations, contractor communications, and photo records.
• Identify substandard or non-conforming work and coordinate corrective actions with contractors, municipal representatives, and project managers.
• Communicate professionally with contractors, municipal personnel, utility operators, engineering staff, and stakeholders.
• Utilize digital tools for data collection and reporting, including Survey123, ArcGIS, tablets, and GPS equipment as needed.
