Job summary

Qualifications

• Applicants must be a rising 2nd- or 3rd-year law student during the internship period.
• Commitment to work for civil rights and civil liberties ideals.
• Enthusiastic, creative, proactive, and detail-oriented; strong research, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and write legal memoranda.
• Draft correspondence to potential clients in response to complaints.
• Assist staff attorneys in case development, discovery, preparation for trial, and amicus briefs.
