Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) seeks an Investigator & Educator, Equity & Compliance to join Social Equity & Inclusion. The Civil Rights Investigator & Educator conducts prompt, equitable investigations related to civil rights compliance and supports education, prevention, and outreach to foster an inclusive, safe RISD environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of civil rights laws and regulations (Title VI/IX, ADA/504, VAWA, Clery Act).
• Experience developing and delivering educational programming on DEI/compliance.
• Ability to maintain neutrality, objectivity, and confidentiality during investigations.

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough, unbiased investigations into discrimination and Title IX cases.
• Prepare comprehensive written investigation reports with findings of fact.
• Collaborate with Title IX Coordinator and other campus partners for intake and case management.
• Deliver prevention and educational programs on bias, discrimination, and compliance.
• Represent Equity & Compliance in campus events and outreach activities.
