Job summary

BDI is seeking a Program Manager to oversee engineering and field teams, manage scope, schedule and budget, and deliver technical reports for a diverse client base including state DOTs, USACE, and general contractors. The role requires coordinating project plans, client communications, and financials to ensure timely, compliant delivery.

You will lead project scoping discussions, supervise field activities, ensure safety standards, and mentor junior staff across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• PM experience in engineering services or civil construction.
• Experience leading, managing, and developing personnel.
• EIT and P.E. certification.
• Willing to travel and work in the field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget including logistics, client correspondence, and invoicing.
• Communicate project status with team and client; lead scoping discussions.
• Prepare proposals including budgeting and staffing.
• Manage project from start to finish with alignment to proposal and budget.
• Coordinate schedules, analyses, and deliverables with other PMs.
• Ensure all safety standards and quality controls are met.
• Monitor financial performance and reporting against the budget.
• Develop deliverables and closeout documents for clients.
• Support business development and mentor junior staff.
• Provide field support and staff training as required.
