Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join the Civil/Site team in Philadelphia, PA. This role oversees project management, client relations, budgeting, and staff supervision to deliver design projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a PE and 8+ years in site design, with strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills and the ability to mentor junior staff while coordinating with regulators and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of site design or land development design.
• PE is required.
• Knowledge of PA land use processes and regulations.
• Proficiency in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analyses, grading.
• Experience in land development.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D; ability to mentor junior staff.
• Ability to interact with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
• Attention to detail with analytical and judgment capabilities.
• Construction oversight, preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Advanced technical skills in stormwater management and site development designs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical accuracy and documentation on plans, reports, and design documents.
• Develop and review design tasks such as conceptual planning, grading, and drainage designs.
• Perform site visits during construction to evaluate issues and ensure quality control.
• Prepare proposal scopes, schedules, and change orders; manage invoices and profitability.
• Lead and mentor junior staff; supervise project staff and coordinate with regulators and clients.
• Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Ensure adherence to standard AutoCAD procedures.
