Job summary

MacKay in Federal Way, Washington is seeking a dedicated Civil Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure projects from planning through design completion. You will manage client relationships, coordinate engineering teams, and ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across diverse projects.

The ideal candidate has a PE license in Washington, a Civil Engineering degree, and 4+ years of applicable experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
• PE license in Washington.
• Strong knowledge of local development codes, permitting processes, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects' scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Serve as primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships.
• Coordinate engineering teams, subconsultants, and support staff.
• Lead site development plans, reports, calculations, and permit apps.
• Review designs for code compliance and client requirements.
• Support business development through opportunities and proposals.
• Lead client meetings with agencies and internal teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and project staff.
• Monitor performance and take corrective actions to meet goals.
