Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Harrisburg, PA office is seeking a Project Manager, Civil Engineer with 8+ years of experience to join their Land Development team. This is not a remote position and based in Harrisburg, PA.

The role involves site development engineering, project management, client coordination, and collaboration with other industry professionals on residential and commercial projects. PE licensure within 12 months is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and software including hydrology modeling programs, storm drainage programs, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Experience with task management, concept design, and assisting project management tasks.
• Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to build plan sets and other construction documents.
• Design experience including utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Projects will include a variety of land development site designs.
• Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers and designers on diverse projects.
• Develop internal and external professional relationships.
