Overview

Civil Project Manager - Land Development

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Project Manager to join our Land Development team. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute land development civil engineering projects efficiently, meeting schedules and budgets.
• Support land development civil teams in producing civil plan sets.
• Manage internal support teams (survey, traffic, hydrology, hydraulics, etc.), effectively communicating technical details, schedules, and budgets.
• Implement QA/QC programs and ensure compliance within the project team.
• Collaborate with City/County staff for project plan approvals.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and allocate resources across different project stages.
• Oversee construction services, including RFI responses and site meetings with contractors.
• Lead up to five technical personnel, including assigning projects, reviewing work, training staff in civil engineering design and CAD/Civil3D, and recommending compensation adjustments or promotions.

The compensation for this position is competitive and based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. Additionally, this is a bonus-eligible position with potential for further financial recognition based on performance and company success.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in fundamental civil engineering design principles for land development projects.
• Experience in cost estimating, bid phase assistance, construction administration, and general construction methods.
• Proficiency with CAD/Civil 3D and other relevant software, with the ability to learn new technologies.

Required Experience

• Minimum of four years of experience in Land Development Engineering design.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or eligible for licensure within 6-12 months.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university or college; substitutions may be considered at management's discretion.
