Job summary

SEH Inc is recruiting a Civil Engineer – Land Development / Municipal in Omaha, NE. You will design roadways and sites, prepare plans and estimates, and coordinate with clients and teams to deliver projects.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, EIT eligibility, strong communication, and willingness to travel as needed. Military or industry experience is a plus in a collaborative, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Ability to obtain EIT certification within a reasonable timeframe.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and delivery of transportation and site development projects.
• Develop designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D for roadways, trails, and utilities.
• Prepare construction plans, specs, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Conduct site visits, field reviews, and construction observation as needed.
• Manage assigned tasks and report progress to supervisors.
