SEH, an employee-owned engineering firm, seeks an experienced Civil Project Manager to join our Omaha team. You will lead civil engineering projects, manage client relationships, and help grow our Nebraska practice with autonomy and collaboration.

We deliver municipal infrastructure, transportation, water resources, land development, and related projects. SEH emphasizes flexibility, trust, and professional growth, offering hybrid work and strong national resources to support local delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Nebraska or ability to obtain Nebraska licensure.
• Demonstrated experience managing civil engineering projects and client relationships.
• Proven ability to develop business opportunities, prepare proposals, and win work.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage project budgets, schedules, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with municipal, public-sector, and private clients throughout Nebraska.
• Identify, pursue, and win new project opportunities.
• Serve as Project Manager for a variety of civil engineering projects.
• Lead project teams from pursuit through design and construction.
• Prepare project approaches, scopes of work, and fee proposals.
• Partner with technical staff and business development leaders to develop winning strategies and client solutions.
• Represent SEH at client meetings, public meetings, industry organizations, and professional events.
• Mentor engineers, designers, and technical staff while helping shape a positive team culture.
• Collaborate with professionals across multiple disciplines to provide innovative solutions for clients.
• Help expand SEH's presence and reputation throughout Nebraska and surrounding markets.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in civil engineering consulting.
• Experience serving municipal, public-sector, transportation, water resources, public works, or land development clients.
• Experience developing and maintaining client relationships that result in repeat business.
• Experience leading project pursuits, interviews, and negotiations.
• Supervisory and staff mentoring experience.
• Established relationships within the Nebraska engineering and development community.
