Job summary

SEH is seeking a senior civil engineer to manage a portfolio of municipal, public-sector, and private projects in Nebraska. You will lead multidisciplinary teams from pursuit through design and construction, develop scopes of work, and prepare fee proposals while maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of civil engineering consulting experience, a PE license (Nebraska preferred), and proven ability to win work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field must be obtained.
• PE license in Nebraska or ability to obtain Nebraska licensure is required.
• Proven experience managing civil engineering projects and client relationships.
• Ability to develop business opportunities, prepare proposals, and win work.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets, schedules, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Proven ability to develop business opportunities, prepare proposals, and win work
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage project budgets, schedules, and client expectations
• 10+ years of experience in civil engineering consulting preferred
• Experience serving municipal, public-sector, transportation, water resources, public works, or land development clients preferred
• Experience developing and maintaining client relationships that result in repeat business preferred
• Experience leading project pursuits, interviews, and negotiations preferred
• Supervisory and staff mentoring experience preferred
• Established relationships within the Nebraska engineering and development community preferred
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
