Civil Project Manager

Job Title: Civil Project Manager

Duration: Ongoing (multiple years)

Type: Contract

Start Date: End of May / Early June 2025

Years of Experience: 5-15 years

Scope: The Civil Project Manager will oversee refinery project work, including civil demolition for launcher pads, structural steel, tank work, tank bottoms, and concrete. The role requires a strong background in project management within civil work, ideally within the refining or energy sector. Candidates with heavy industrial PM civil work experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of civil projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met.
• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
• Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical guidance.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in civil project management, preferably within the refining or energy sector.
• Strong understanding of civil demolition, structural steel, tank work, and concrete.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Engineering degree is not required, but relevant experience is essential.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in heavy industrial PM civil work.
• Familiarity with refinery project work and associated challenges.
