Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering with ability to manage multiple land development and municipal projects.
• Experience with land development design, permitting, and municipal review processes.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong technical judgement, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• A proactive mindset with a hunger to learn, grow, and work with excellence.
• A team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead land development projects from planning to completion, managing scope, schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
• Review subdivision, land development, stormwater, and other civil engineering submissions for municipal clients and provide clear, practical review comments.
• Coordinate engineers, designers, technicians, and other team members to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality work.
• Provide technical oversight and QA/QC for assigned projects and municipal reviews.
• Communicate consistently with developers, municipal officials, clients, and other project stakeholders to understand needs and deliver excellent service.
• Build and maintain client relationships while identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow JHA’s civil engineering services.
