Job summary
Jobot is seeking a Civil Project Engineer in Weehawken Township, NJ for an on-site, permanent role. You will design and permit construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, and utilities, coordinating with the project team to meet regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, is a licensed PE, and has experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools. Strong communication and writing skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Professional Engineer license is required.
- Experience with land development design and permitting is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design and permitting of construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater treatment and conveyance, water and sewer, roadway, pump station and force main design.
- Provide technical and design support, prepare reports in technical writing format, and coordinate with team members to complete work on time.
- Coordinate project submittals, facilitate regulatory agency approvals, and obtain construction permits.
