Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineer for our New Jersey office to lead design and permitting for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater and utility systems. The role requires effective communication and coordination with project teams and regulatory agencies.

Qualified candidates will hold a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, PE license, and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office. Knowledge of land development design is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• Professional Engineering License required.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office required.
• Hydraflow Storm Sewer, Hydrograph, and WaterCad preferred.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Experience with design of land development projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and permitting of construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater treatment and conveyance, water and sewer, roadway, pump station and force main design.
• Provide technical and design services in support of civil engineering projects reporting to the project manager.
• Coordinate project submittals and facilitate regulatory agency approvals.
