Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineer to lead the design and permitting of site layout, grading, drainage, and utilities. You will coordinate with project managers, prepare technical reports, and manage submittals through regulatory approvals.

Responsibilities include coordinating designs, producing reports, and ensuring permits are obtained for land development projects. A PE license and strong writing skills are required. Competitive salary plus yearly bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineering License is required.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office is required; Hydraflow, Hydrograph and WaterCad preferred.
• Strong communication and writing skills are essential.
• Experience with land development design is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and permitting of construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater treatment and conveyance, water and sewer, roadway, pump station and force main design.
• Provide technical and design support for civil engineering projects, coordinating with the project manager and team.
• Coordinate project submittals, facilitate regulatory agency approvals, and obtain construction permits.
• Communicate and produce reports in technical writing format and collaborate with team members to complete work efficiently.
