Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE required).
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of employment (or the ability to attain within a year).
• Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in bridge design and bridge inspection.
• Knowledge of AASHTO and DOT bridge design standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to self-motivate and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design for transportation and roadway projects.
• Develop and oversee bridge and retaining wall design.
• Prepare construction documents, including plans and cost estimates.
• Lead bridge condition inspections throughout Ohio.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with design standards and client requirements.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams on project coordination.
• Contribute to project scoping and proposal development.
