Job summary

Baltimore County is seeking a project engineer in the Department of Public Works and Transportation, Bureau of Engineering and Construction to manage multiple capital and development projects and major programs.

You will coordinate with County agencies and outside partners, review drawings, provide design assistance, attend meetings, and ensure compliance with Baltimore County standards. A bachelor's in engineering or EIT with four years' experience is required, plus licensure proof.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or EIT with four years of field/office experience.
• Must submit proof of licenses, certifications and education.
• Must have valid driver's license; some positions may require it.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project engineer for multiple professional engineering projects.
• Coordinate with County and outside agencies including state and federal entities.
• Review developer drawings for compliance with County standards.
• Provide project management for in-house and consultant design projects.
• Prepare and supervise correspondence and facilitate public meetings.
