Job summary

MacKay is seeking a Civil Project Engineer (PE) in Pasco, Washington to drive design for roadway, water, sewer, natural gas, and site development from concept through construction. You will collaborate with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, buildable designs.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, a WA/OR PE license, and at least five years of relevant experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE licensure in WA and/or OR.
• 5 years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience in utility design, grading plans, and site development in Western Washington.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide design guidance, and manage technical delivery of civil engineering projects focused on natural gas infrastructure.
• Communicate with clients and collaborate with project managers to position the firm for future work.
• Direct and support technical staff to deliver projects.
• Assist project managers in scope, budget, and schedule and prepare deliverables.
• Assist with business development to cultivate client relationships.
