Job summary

Spencer Ogden seeks a Civil Project Engineer to join its growing team in Pasco, Washington, delivering civil infrastructure designs from concept through construction. The ideal candidate is a licensed PE with strong Civil 3D and infrastructure experience and will coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

You will mentor junior staff, manage multiple projects, and contribute to proposals and business development while advancing to greater project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Washington and/or Oregon.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience delivering civil engineering projects in Washington.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver civil engineering designs from concept through construction.
• Provide technical design and engineering support across multiple concurrent assignments.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, multidisciplinary teams, and external stakeholders.
• Assist with project scopes, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Support client communication and project coordination.
• Review technical work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Contribute to proposals, business development efforts, and long-term client relationships.
• Support the delivery of natural gas infrastructure projects where required.

We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Pasco, Washington.

This role is ideal for a licensed civil engineer who enjoys technical design and project delivery and is looking to take on increasing responsibility across client coordination, mentoring, and project management.

You will work on a broad range of civil infrastructure projects, including utility infrastructure, roadway, stormwater, water and sewer systems, grading, site development, and natural gas infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver civil engineering designs from concept through construction.
• Support roadway, utility, stormwater, water, sanitary sewer, grading, and site development projects.
• Provide technical design and engineering support across multiple concurrent assignments.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, multidisciplinary teams, and external stakeholders.
• Assist with project scopes, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Support client communication and project coordination.
• Review technical work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable standards.
