You’ll work across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sites, taking projects from early design through permitting and construction, with a flexible hybrid work model. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $130,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 4+ years of land development or site civil experience.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Grading, drainage, stormwater, erosion control, and utility design.
• Producing site development and construction plans in Civil 3D.
• Coordinating with clients, local agencies, architects, surveyors, and contractors.
• Supporting project schedules, budgets, proposals, and permitting.

Are you a land development PE who still enjoys the technical side of engineering but wants more project ownership and a genuine path into project management?

Roc Search is partnering with an established civil engineering firm in the Arlington and Northern Virginia market that is looking to add a Civil Project Engineer to its growing land development team.

You’ll work across residential, commercial, mixed‑use, and other site development projects, taking projects from early design through permitting and construction.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Grading, drainage, stormwater, erosion control, and utility design
• Producing site development and construction plans in Civil 3D
• Coordinating with clients, local agencies, architects, surveyors, and contractors
• Supporting project schedules, budgets, proposals, and permitting
