Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer, PE to join our Land Development team in our Charlotte office. You will manage multiple civil engineering projects and work with project managers to deliver client-focused infrastructure solutions.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of civil engineering experience, a degree in civil engineering, and a PE license or eligibility in NC. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in NC OR ability to obtain within two months.
• 4+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including land development.
• Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency.
• Possess a valid drivers license as travel to various facilities and job sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, scheduling and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel, both design and construction.
• Work closely with Project Managers in understanding client needs and expectations.
• Review and/or prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Read and interpret engineering plans, specifications and reports.
• Provide technical advice regarding design, construction or modification and repairs to clients, contractors and other staff members.
• May assist with business development activities (client needs, research, proposals, etc.).
• Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Responsible for the management planning, scheduling and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel, both design and construction
