Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Civil Project Engineer in Timonium, MD for a permanent, on-site role. You will design and permit site layouts, grading, drainage, and water/sewer systems, coordinating with the project team to deliver timely, compliant plans.

Requirements include a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, PE license, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office; Hydraflow, Hydrograph, WaterCad are a plus. Strong communication and writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office required; Hydraflow, Hydrograph and WaterCad preferred.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Experience with land development project design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and permitting of construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater treatment and conveyance, water and sewer, roadway, pump station and force main design.
• Provide technical and design services in support of civil engineering projects, reporting to the project manager.
• Coordinate project submittals, facilitate regulatory agency approvals, and obtain construction permits.
