Job summary

Stratus is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to support land development and industrial projects. This role blends hands-on civil design with project management, client engagement, permitting coordination, and team leadership across a nationwide team.

The candidate will plan, design, and manage projects, acting as a liaison with clients, regulators, contractors, and internal teams. Travel nationwide and growth opportunities are available within a collaborative, safety‑mocused culture.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree.
• 4–8 years of experience in engineering design and project coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of land development regulations and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing civil engineering and land development projects from concept through construction.
• Coordinate project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, contractors, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
• Support business development through client relationship management and opportunity identification.
• Lead and prepare civil engineering designs and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers.
