CPH is seeking a Civil Project Engineer, EIT to join our Commercial team in Sanford, FL. The role supports project management by providing technical and administrative assistance through the project lifecycle, gaining hands-on experience in best practices and project management.

Responsibilities include developing project plans, preparing documentation, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• 2+ years of experience with site design projects; commercial projects is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Civil 3D, grading, drainage, and ICPR is highly preferred.

• Prepare and maintain reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct inspections and quality control to uphold standards.
• Support project design and development through research and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
• Assist in preparation and evaluation of proposals.
• Prepare and present progress reports on project status.
• Contribute to design and development of engineering solutions, including drafting and drawings.

We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer, EIT to join our dynamic Commercial team in Sanford, FL.

The Civil Project Engineer supports project management activities by providing technical and administrative support throughout the project’s lifecycle. This role involves assisting with project planning, design, and execution while gaining hand on experience in best engineering practices and project management.

Duties Include

• Assist in the development of projects plans, including the scope of work, timeframe, and budget.


• Prepare and maintain documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.


• Conducts inspections and quality control to maintain high standards.


• Conduct research and analysis to support project design and development.


• Ensure the design and engineering work complies with industry standards and regulations.


• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of proposals.


• Ensure the projects comply with engineering standards, regulations, and quality requirements.


• Prepare and/or present progress reports, including updates on project status.


• Design and development of engineering solutions, including drafting, and drawings.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering


• 2+ years of experience with site design projects; experience with Commercial projects is a plus


• Hands on experience with Civil 3D, Grading, Drainage, and ICPR highly preferred


• EI/EIT Certification (or ability to obtain) required
