Job Advertisement: Site / Civil Project Engineer

Compensation: $110,000–$200,000 (based on experience and licensure) + Performance Bonus

Our client, a nationally recognized engineering firm, is growing their Orlando office and seeking a Site / Civil Project Engineer to lead the planning, design, and permitting of civil and land development projects across diverse market sectors including healthcare, higher education, commercial, mixed-use, and more.

This opportunity is ideal for engineering professionals ready to take the next step—either as a Project Manager or a Senior Project Manager—who want to contribute meaningfully to project execution while mentoring junior staff and growing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage land development and infrastructure projects from concept through completion
• Design site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, erosion and sediment control systems
• Coordinate permitting with local and state agencies
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee technical staff
• Maintain and grow client relationships; serve as a key point of contact
• Prepare and review reports, proposals, and stormwater management plans
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables
• Travel locally for client meetings and site visits (Orlando metro area)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Active PE license required
• 6+ years of experience in site/civil land development
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Strong knowledge of stormwater management, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Prior experience with private sector land development (vs. public infrastructure projects) strongly preferred
