Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Civil Project Engineer, located at our Lexington, KY office or our Louisville, KY office. The Civil Project Engineer will be responsible for designing civil engineering projects, managing stormwater systems, and developing sites. Additional duties include performing quality control checks, coordinating with other project stakeholders, and ensuring that all designs meet local and federal regulations. The role requires close collaboration with team members and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Under the guidance of the Director of Civil Engineering, the Project Civil Engineer is responsible for the design, preparation of construction documents, and construction-phase support for a wide range of site and infrastructure development projects. Typical responsibilities include the design and coordination of site grading, stormwater management systems (including detention and water quality facilities), roadway improvements, culverts, utility infrastructure (storm sewer, water, and sanitary sewer), and other related civil engineering components. The Project Civil Engineer will also assist with construction administration tasks, including submittal reviews, field observations, and coordination with contractors and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project delivery.
