Civil Project Engineer

Overview

HBK Engineering is seeking a forward-thinking Civil Project Engineer passionate about advancing sustainable infrastructure. Join our team to play a pivotal role in creating a resilient and vibrant future.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the design and management of land development projects from conception to completion.
• Ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
• Review designs for compliance with standards and client expectations, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Build strong relationships with clients, providing trusted engineering consultation and managing proposals and contracts.
• Create comprehensive construction packages, optimize schedules, and oversee on-site activities.
• Act as the primary liaison between HBK and clients, guiding engineering efforts with expertise.

What We're Looking For

• A Civil Engineering graduate with a passion for urban development.
• A licensed Professional Engineer in PA, IL, IA, with flexibility to extend licensure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation, and Microsoft Office.
• At least seven years of experience in land development project design.
• Experience in developing and executing construction packages and schedules.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and team leadership.
• A keen eye for design quality and professional review.
• Experience in electrical vehicle charging or renewable energy projects is a plus.
• Commitment to HBK's standards, including passing background and drug tests.

8-10 years experience: $95,000-$110,000
More than 10 years: $100,000-$120,000
