Job summary

CPH is seeking a Civil Project Engineer, EIT to join our Civil/Municipal team in Sanford, FL. The role focuses on developing project plans, site design, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, 2+ years of site design experience, and hands-on Civil 3D, grading, and drainage knowledge. EI/EIT certification or ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience with site design projects; experience with Commercial projects is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Civil 3D, Grading, Drainage, and ICPR highly preferred.
• EI/EIT Certification (or ability to obtain) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of project plans, including the scope of work, timeframe, and budget.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct inspections and quality control to maintain high standards.
• Conduct research and analysis to support project design and development.
• Ensure the design and engineering work complies with industry standards and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of proposals.
• Ensure the projects comply with engineering standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
• Prepare and/or present progress reports, including updates on project status.
• Design and development of engineering solutions, including drafting, and drawings.
