Job summary

CPH, a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm, seeks a Civil Project Engineer, EIT to join our Commercial team in Sanford or Jacksonville, FL. You will support project management through planning, design, and execution across the project lifecycle.

The role involves developing project plans, documenting progress, and ensuring compliance with standards. Requires a Civil Engineering degree and EI/EIT eligibility, with 2+ years of site design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of experience with site design projects; Commercial projects a plus.
• EI/EIT certification or ability to obtain is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of project plans, including scope, timeframe, and budget.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct inspections and quality control to maintain high standards.
• Conduct research and analysis to support project design and development.
• Ensure the design and engineering work complies with industry standards and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of proposals.
• Ensure projects comply with engineering standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
• Prepare and/or present progress reports, including updates on project status.
• Design and development of engineering solutions, including drafting and drawings.

CPH is a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm that ranks in the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine. We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer, EIT to join our dynamic Commercial team in Sanford or Jacksonville, FL!

The Civil Project Engineer supports project management activities by providing technical and administrative support throughout the project’s lifecycle. This role involves assisting with project planning, design, and execution while gaining hand on experience in best engineering practices and project management.

Department: Civil/Municipal

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 / year

Duties Include

• Assist in the development of projects plans, including the scope of work, timeframe, and budget.

Requirements

• Hands on experience with Civil 3D, Grading, Drainage, and ICPR highly preferred
• EI/EIT Certification (or ability to obtain) required
