Job summary

Career Collective is seeking a Civil Professional Engineer with land development experience to join our team. The role focuses on site, grading, utilities, stormwater, and related design tasks, with responsibility for reports, permit applications, and CAD drawings.

You will manage projects and client relationships, develop technical approaches, and participate in public presentations. A PE license and consulting experience are required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience in a professional consulting environment.
• Proficient with design software including AutoCAD and HydroCAD.
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Time management skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment on multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Perform standard computations, analyze data, prepare reports, permit applications, and develop CAD drawings.
• Develop detailed site, grading, utility and erosion/sediment control plans.
• Storm water design, minor water and wastewater, roadway and parking design and construction detailing.
• Develop proposals for professional services.
• Manage projects, technicians and client relationships.
• Develop technical approaches and participate in public presentations and speaking engagements.
