Job summary

CrossRoad Engineers, PC is seeking a Plan Reviewer to assist in reviewing civil engineering construction drawings and hydraulic analysis reports prepared by outside firms for local approvals. You will conduct drainage calculations reviews, identify deficiencies, and communicate findings to municipalities to ensure timely project approvals.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with 0-2+ years of experience (or 5+ years without degree) and a background in civil

Qualifications

• 0-2+ years reading/understanding drainage reports, civil drawings, specs (EIT preferred) with or without degree
• 5+ years relevant experience in drainage reports and civil drawings
• Project and design experience in civil engineering projects preferred
• Effective written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Review construction standards and drainage calculations per municipality codes
• Identify deficiencies and provide written comments following guidelines
• Review plan and report information with engineers to obtain corrected information
• Attend meetings representing the municipality when needed
