Job summary

CrossRoad Engineers, PC is seeking a Plan Reviewer to assist in reviewing civil engineering construction drawings and hydraulic analyses for projects submitted to municipalities. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with codes, identifying deficiencies, and communicating recommendations to outside engineers.

The position requires strong analytical skills, effective written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage time and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent with 0–2+ years reading drainage reports and drawings, or 5+ years in related work.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings and drainage calculations for compliance with codes and ordinances.
• Identify deficiencies and provide written comments following guidelines.
• Explain deficiencies to engineers and obtain missing information to meet deadlines.
• Attend meetings and present the completed plan reviews when required.
