Job summary

Qualifications

5–15 years of civil engineering experience.
PE license required to ensure compliance with standards.
Site development expertise is required.
Oil/gas, geotechnical, or environmental experience preferred.
Water and/or wastewater experience preferred.
Advanced certifications encouraged as recommended by supervisor.
Proficiency with GIS and AutoCAD for drafting.

Responsibilities

Uphold safety requirements throughout project lifecycles.
Maintain effective communication with clients, team, subcontractors, and management.
Assist with proposals, change orders, and cost estimates; define scopes of work.
Collaborate with other departments for delivery and problem solving.
Oversee preparation and approval of deliverables and engineering work plans.
Review plans, calculations, and design documents for site development.
Provide technical oversight during field investigations and construction observation.
Manage scheduling and coordination with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Provide updates on progress and milestones to stakeholders.
Interpret data to inform decisions and maintain submittal logs.
