Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil or Mechanical Engineering Telecom Co-Op for May–December 2027. You will work with experienced engineers on energy and utility projects, contributing to design, data collection, and cost estimation.

The role requires pursuing an ABET-accredited BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, readiness to work full-time during summer and winter terms, and proficiency with MS Office. Travel and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited curriculum.
• Full-time availability May 2027–December 2027.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willing to travel and have a valid driver’s license.
• MicroStation or AutoCAD experience or exposure is preferred but not required.
• Housing, relocation, and transportation assistance are not available for this position.

In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers on energy and utility projects.

• Material specifications
• General project and office support

Specific Requirements Include

• Pursuing a BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum
• Willing to work full-time during the Summer and Winter semesters from May 2027 - December 2027
• Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
• Excellent Communication skills
• Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver’s license
• MicroStation or AutoCAD experience or exposure is preferred, but not required
• Housing, relocation, and transportation assistance are not available for this position.
