Civil or Environmental Engineer IV to join and grow with our Water Engineering team! This position is open to individuals located in the western area (Richmond, Charlottesville, Roanoke, Blacksburg) of Virginia, or in close proximity of the Piedmont Triad area (Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point), of North Carolina.

This Opportunity:

• Partner with a team to manage water infrastructure projects, supporting planning, design, and construction of water treatment, pumping, distribution, storage, or conveyance projects
• Develop creative solutions to complex wastewater treatment and conveyance challenges, working closely with engineers, designers, and professionals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative project solutions
• Maintain close relationships with clients throughout project development and after completion
• Mentor junior staff
• Build and strengthen client relationships

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• Experience managing/supporting multi-discipline infrastructure projects
• Experience in design and construction of municipal, state, federal, or industrial water treatment projects
• Understanding of project management methodologies and tools
• Knowledge of water treatment systems, equipment, and regulations
• Residency in specified areas of Virginia or North Carolina

Qualifications:

• Seven (7) years of experience in designing or managing water treatment projects
• Knowledge of regional water issues and municipal client base
• Ability to support multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Ability to scope and manage water treatment projects and budgets
• Proficiency in project management software and tools

Base salary range: $95,000 - $125,000, depending on experience and skills.
