Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a full-time Civil / Municipal Engineer in Rock Island, Illinois, to work on a wide range of civil, municipal, and environmental projects. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical engineering reports.
• Prepare or modify plans, specifications, construction schedules, permits, and cost estimates for public works projects.
• Work with Construction Observers/Resident Technicians during all facets of construction.
• Assist Project Manager in completing projects within budget and on schedule.
• Client contact including attendance at board or council meetings.

The successful candidate will collaborate with CAD Technicians, Construction Observers, Land Survey Chiefs, and office staff in various capacities.

Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Illinois Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary Range: $91,000 – $129,043.
