Job summary

Kleinfelder in Illinois seeks a full-time Civil/Municipal Engineer to design and manage municipal and environmental projects, collaborating with CAD Technicians, Construction Observers, Land Survey Chiefs, and staff.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Eng, 10+ years of design experience, and an Illinois PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year. Benefits include medical/dental/vision and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of civil engineering design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical engineering reports.
• Prepare or modify plans, specifications, schedules, permits, and cost & quantity estimates for public works projects.
• Work with Construction Observers/Resident Technicians during all facets of construction.
• Assist Project Manager in completing projects within budget and on schedule.
• Client contact including attendance at board or council meetings.

We are currently seeking a full-time Civil / Municipal Engineer. Our team works with local communities on a wide range of civil, municipal, and environmental projects. We are looking for a Professional Engineer who would work with CAD Technicians, Construction Observers, Land Survey Chiefs, and office staff in various capacities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Illinois Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary Range:$91,000 - $129,043.
