Job summary

Mindlance seeks a Civil/Mechanical Superintendent to oversee solar plant construction on-site in the U.S. You will act as the Owner’s representative for civil and structural work, coordinating with the EPC to meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

Preferred candidates have 4+ years in civil/structural construction. You will review drawings, manage field crews, and ensure QA/QC and Unifier documentation are up to date.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading civil/structural drawings and prints.
• Strong people management and field coordination skills.
• Excellent organization, scheduling, and progress reporting abilities.
• Clear communication with contractors, management, and third parties.
• Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; data entry and uploads.

Position:

Location:

On construction site for duration of project, mainland U.S.

Reports To:

Construction Manager Solar, Engineering and Construction

Preferred Background:

Industrial experience in Civil and Structural construction. Minimum of 4 years.

Job Description:

To act as the Owner’s representative to oversee the civil and structural aspects of the solar plant construction. This position is responsible for ensuring the adherence of the EPC to all Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Performance expectations as defined by the EPC’s Scope of Work and contractual commitments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review Safety Documents and Policies
• Review Contract Documents (Scope of work)
• Review Civil/Mechanical Drawings and Specifications
• Review and Ensure SWPPP is installed and Maintained per Permit
• Ensure EPC schedules Pre-Cons for New Tasks
• Review Civil/Mechanical Checklist
• Attend EPC Safety, Craft Tailgates and Management Meetings
• Perform daily field walks and observations with field crews
• Perform QA/QC inspections and walkdowns on construction activities
• Monitor Unifier Uploads by EPC
• Complete QA/QC inspections in Unifier per frequency and activity completion
• Track Open Action Items or Punchlist
