Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution in Houston seeks an experienced civil litigation attorney to manage a busy docket focused on real estate, business, and construction disputes. This hands-on role offers direct client contact and strategic case ownership in an hourly, retainer-based model.

The ideal candidate has Texas bar admission, a JD, 5+ years in civil litigation, and comfort handling matters from evaluation through trial.

Qualifications

Active Texas bar admission.
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
5+ years of civil litigation experience, ideally involving real estate, business, and/or construction disputes.
Comfort working in an hourly billing model with upfront retainers (not a contingency practice environment).
Willingness to work on-site in Houston.
Background not primarily focused in personal injury or insurance defense.

Responsibilities

Manage civil litigation matters involving commercial and residential real estate disputes, business disputes, and construction disputes.
Handle cases from initial evaluation through pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediation, and trial preparation (as applicable).
Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions; prepare written discovery and responses.
Communicate directly with clients regarding strategy, budgeting, and case status in an hourly, retainer-based framework.
Collaborate with firm leadership on litigation strategy and execution.
