Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal for a growing Tulsa law firm. You will work closely with attorneys through every stage of cases, manage calendars, draft discovery, and maintain file organization.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of civil litigation support, strong client communication skills, and a proven ability to manage deadlines across a busy docket. Experience in business, real estate, construction, or probate matters is a plus; you should be

Qualifications

• Civil litigation paralegal or legal assistant experience required.
• Experience preparing discovery requests and responses.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court deadlines.
• Excellent calendaring, organization, proofreading, and time-management.
• Ability to manage multiple cases with competing deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating directly with clients and keeping them informed.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive about deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Help attorneys manage active civil litigation caseloads from intake through resolution.
• Maintain accurate calendars for court dates, discovery deadlines, hearings, mediations, and other critical dates.
• Monitor upcoming deadlines and remind attorneys of filings and case responsibilities.
• Draft and prepare discovery requests, discovery responses, correspondence, notices, and other documents.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files.
• Communicate with clients and provide timely case updates.
• Gather, review, and organize documents and other evidence.
• Assist attorneys with business, real estate, construction, contract, and probate matters.
• Help prepare cases for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial.
• Assemble exhibits, timelines, case summaries, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, experts, and third-party vendors.
• Work closely with attorneys in all aspects of case preparation and management.
